“I am Michelle Linzy, the owner of Ascending Higher LLC. I am very excited to bring you Ascending Higher.  I have spent over 25 years in Education both as a teacher (20+ years) and a High School Counselor.  As an MFT, I specialized in tween, teen and young adult challenges, issues, and situations. In addition, I am a mom to two daughters and I have helped them plan, prepare, and execute the strategies needed to become accepted into colleges and universities.

As a parent of two daughters who were college-bound, I understand how overwhelming it can be for families to navigate the pathway to higher education. There are numerous elements that are needed to achieve that goal, and understanding how all those pieces fit together can be confusing.  Ascending Higher is here to provide clarification, transparency, and enlightenment to the college acceptance process.
